Gisella Borioli
Entrepreneur, journalist and art director of important fashion magazines (Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Lei/Glamour, Donna, Madame Figaro Italia, etc.) along with her husband Flavio Lucchini, she created in 1983 Superstudio 13, hub for photography, and in 2000 Superstudio Più, hub for events in fashion, art, design, communication.

From 2000 she devised the international projects "Design Connection", "Temporary Museum for New Design" and "Superdesign Show" at Superstudio, a focal point for the promotion of innovative design during Milan Design Week, with the art direction of Giulio Cappellini. Just in the last edition, Superdesign Show hosted 80.000 visitors and 2200 international journalists.

She has published many books and catalogues on fashion, art and costume; curated exhibits of photography, fashion and art. She has held institutional roles as advisor on art and creativity, including as member of the Strategic Committee of the Municipality of Milan.

She has received many awards and acknowledgements in Italy and abroad. In 2014 she was assigned the prestigious "Ambrogino D’Oro" award as undisputed protagonist of fashion, design and culture of Milan. In 2019, she was named Design Ambassador for Osaka by Italian Goverment.
