Paolo Emilio Cassandro
Paolo Emilio Cassandro was born in Florence in 1975 where he studied architecture at the University of Florence — Faculty of Architecture — earning a master degree in architecture with specialization in environmental planning (110/110). From 2004 is registered member of the Board of Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Restorers of Florence — Italy. In 2009 has been appointed as member of the Departement of sustainable architecture inside the Board of Architects of Florence and in 2017 has been appointed as Vicepresident in the commission for the board of architects new election.

Since 2002 collaborates with S.M.A.H. s.r.l. of Architect Simone Micheli in Florence and Milan, and since 2008 teaches ecodesign and interior architecture at the Florence Design Academy in Florence. During his civil service during 2003 he has spent one year at Fondazione Giovanni Michelucci in Fiesole archiving drawings and photographs of the architect Giovanni Michelucci.
His intense activity in notable projects of architect Simone Micheli includes: Park Hotel ai Cappuccini in Gubbio, Arezzo Park Hotel in Arezzo, Sogecos offices in Milan, New York palace hotel in Budapest, Carlo IV Hotel in Prague, L’incontro sport center in Romagnano Sesia, Kinder Garden in Cuveglio, Apartments building in via dell’Arcovata in Florence, La casa italiana emozione e innovazione nel design in San Paolo, Mexico city and Monterrey, Village stands at Mood expo in Bruxelles and the Alessandro Rosso /Jomoo Pavilion at Milan Expo 2015.

Together with the activity of planning and design he has presented and lectured the italian design on behalf of architect Simone Micheli in many countries including Germany, Poland, Lebanon, Tunisia, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil. He has taught and assists the architect Simone Micheli’s courses at University of Florence in Florence, Scuola politecnica di design, Polidesign and Domus Academy in Milan.
