St. Petersburg Design Week presents design stars who have confirmed their participation in the new season. There are Italian designer Massimo Iosa Ghini, founder of Superstudio Piu and Superdesignshow in Milan Gisella Borioli, as well as experts from the Design Academy Eindhoven — Isabelle Makay and Nicoline Dorsman.

One of the most prominent Italian architects and designers, the founder of the cultural movement Bolidismo and a member of the Memphis art group Massimo Iosa Ghini opened Iosa Ghini Associates studio with offices in Milan, Bologna, Moscow and Miami. The company develops projects for international developers, designs residential, commercial and museum spaces, cultural objects, squares and objects for public transport, creates international retail projects. In addition, the designer collaborates with interior brands such as Moroso, Cassina, Poltrona Frau, Snaidero, iGuzzini, Fiam, Zumtobel, Duravit, Silhouette and Yamagiwa. The works of Massimo Iosa Ghini are included in museum collections and are marked with international awards.

Entrepreneur, journalist and art director of such fashionable fashion publications as Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Lei / Glamor, Donna, Madame Figaro Italia, Gisella Borioli and her husband Flavio Lucchini founded Superstudio 13 in Milan in 1983. Then, in 2000 she opened Superstudio Più, a platform for events in the field of fashion, art, design and communications. Since 2000, as part of Superstudio, she has been developing international projects promoting innovative design during Milan Design Week under the leadership of art director Giulio Cappellini. There are Design Connection, Temporary Museum for New Design and Superdesign Show.

In addition, as part of the "Designer's Day", on May 31, experts from the famous Design Academy Eindhoven will speak at the Artplay SPb design center. Founder of the production company Josaphatpark Producties BVBA Isabelle Makay teaches two courses in the Academy on audiovisual and ethnographic researches of the environment. Another speaker from the Netherlands is a consultant for international educational projects of the Design Academy Eindhoven, art critic, curator, cultural expert and writer Nicoline Dorsman.
