SPBILF Experts Will Discuss the Legal Aspects of COVID-19

The forum will be held online from April 10 to 12.
The theme of the special St. Petersburg International Legal Forum 91/2 is "The Coronavirus Laws". As part of a global discussion, representatives of various legal professions from around the world will develop legal solutions to combat the pandemic and its consequences.

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Security Council of the D. Medvedev and the leadership of relevant government bodies are going to participate in the event.

In addition, the Council of Europe supported the initiative to host a special online Forum: heads of the Council of Europe, including Secretary General of the organization Marija Pejčinović Burić, head of the Council of Europe's General Directorate for Human Rights and the Rule of Law, Christos Giakoumopoulos, will speak in virtual sessions.

Topics for discussion are the quarantined human rights, quarantine and civil law, public administration and law-making in an epidemic, remote employment, judicial protection in a pandemic, and the information environment of the virus.
