St. Petersburg Design Week 2020 Will Be Held Online
This year’s there will be two formats of the jubilee season: an online forum will take place from June 22 to 25; and Design Week Expo participants can be seen during online exposition of interior solutions and technologies, new products and trends as part of the “Expo-Days - Construction and Repair” at expoday.online from June 22 to 27.
Online Forum will include a large-scale business and lecture program on the topic "X Files: Secret Issues of Design and for Designers". Headliners of previous seasons from different cities and countries will share their professional secrets and talk about current trends. The program will be addressed not only to professionals. In addition to the analysis of relevant business cases for market participants, lectures and presentations are planned for a wide audience on popular topics, as well as the traditional Trends block.
The usual thematic structure of days will remain the same. On International Design Day, the key event will be a panel discussion, "Problems of Importing Goods in a Global Isolation. How international brands deal with supply issues. " Lectures and presentations from international partners will be held as well. A round table will be held on Russian Design Day on the topic: "Crisis as a Unique Opportunity for Russian Manufacturers: Emergence and Promotion of New Products and Brands in Exempted Markets". Also the program will include an analysis of practical cases from successful Russian headliners. On Networking Day, designers and marketers will discuss new business models. A central discussion will be held on the topic "How to do projects in the distance: online project support, online sources for receiving orders and social networks as promotion channels."
