Summing up the Сompetition "Room of My Вreams"

In the framework of the St. Petersburg Design Week Online Forum the winners of the XXIII International Children’s Design, Fine and Applied Art Competition "Room of My Dreams" will be announced.
Thousands of participants from different countries and regions of Russia annually strive to show how the world around us should become. This time the theme of the year is "Clean Line and Ecodesign". The purpose of the competition is the development of talented youth through the art of interior design, love for their home, the formation of a sense of style and harmony in the work of young artists and designers.
Over the years, more than 50,000 children from all over Russia (from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg) and from different countries (from the UK to Kazakhstan) took part in the competition program and exhibited their works. The Organizing Committee pays special attention to the development of creative potential in children with disabilities who are left without parental care, from poor families, as well as issues of tolerance in relation to Russian culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia and the world.
Based on the results of the competition, 48 main prizes for children and children’s groups, as well as 5 special prizes, one Grand Prix and special diplomas of the Organizing Committee will be awarded.

This year, the competition was supported by the Presidential Grants Fund as part of the New Life of an Old Cabinet project.
