The World Design Organization President called for supporting each other in a difficult situation in the world.

Confirmed earlier his personal participation in the St. Petersburg Design Week Srini Srinivasan emphasized the priority of the World Design Organization in the context of the COVID-19 spread: "As an international organization with activities across the globe, our greatest concern is the health and safety of our team, our members, our project partners and the communities in which we operate."

In addition, Srini Srinivasan called on the professional community to support each other and share with WDO "any best practices or examples of 'design for a better world". The organization, in turn, will share them in its global networks.

The Design Week team hopes that the WDO president will be able to come personally to St. Petersburg in May. Online broadcasts of international speakers as an alternative to full-time participation are being prepared.
